Mike is a Registered Professional Engineer and a native of Sacramento.

After a career working domestically and internationally as an engineer and project manager, Mike and his wife Paula returned to their Northern California roots when he retired in 2016.

Since retiring to Auburn Lake Trails in Cool, Mike has been actively involved as the President of the Auburn Lake Trails Fire Safe Council and a Director of the El Dorado County Fire Safe Council.

Mike is also involved in other activities in ALT, including NCGA golf, several other golf groups, the TGIF dinner club and the Book Club. Mike is happy to be back to the Northern California ski slopes he enjoyed growing up.

With his mother, two brothers, a sister and their families living in the area, Mike and Paula enjoy plenty of family time.

Mike hopes to work with the EDC FPD to improve the wildfire resilience and response of our county, and to keep El Dorado County a safe and wonderful place to live.
