El Dorado County Fire Protection District

Division 3

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a vacancy has occurred on the Board of Directors of the El Dorado County Fire Protection District due to the resignation of Director Jim Edmiston, effective June 29, 2026

Pursuant to California Government Code Section 1780, the Board of Directors intends to fill the vacancy by appointment.

Qualifications
To be eligible for appointment, a person must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a registered voter
• Reside within the boundaries of the Division 1 for El Dorado County Fire Protection District

The appointed director will serve the remainder of the current term.
