El Dorado County Firefighters Lead Placerville Christmas Parade
El Dorado County Fire Protection District firefighters were proud to participate in the Hangtown Christmas Parade! The District's Honor Guard carried the colors at the start of the parade and were followed by: Placerville's 1928 American La France fire engine, a 1951 American La France fire engine and the District's new 2021 Pierce Enforcer Engine 17 currently serving Pollock Pines. Fire Chief Tim Cordero drove the 1928 American La France with guest George Turnboo, El Dorado County District 2 Supervisor . Families of the firefighters also accompanied the parade and were able to enjoy a gathering to watch the remaining parade entries drive by. The Hangtown Christmas Parade was held on December 5, 2021.
