Facilities Repair Project- Station 16 Roof

May contain: garage — El Dorado County Fire Protection District Station 16, Kyburz, CA.

El Dorado County Fire Station 16 is located at 13275 US Highway 50 in Kyburz CA. This is a 2 story, 3,000 sq. ft. building, last updated in 1990. The current composition roof has reached the end of its service life and the District is looking for bids for replacement. The project would include:

1. Remove and dispose of the current composition roof.

2. Install new metal or composition roof.

3. Make any needed repairs to roof decking and fascia boards.

As a public agency, this project will require the contractor to abide by all prevailing wage laws and the job to be registered with the CADIR. Also, the company who is awarded the contract will need to become a registered vendor with El Dorado County, if they are not already. This project is currently open for bids, with a completion date before this winter.
