Fire District Welcomes Six New Members - Badge Pinning May 2023

May 18, 2023, Placerville, CA - A new Firefighter/Paramedic and five new Paramedic Ambulance Operators were sworn in today during a badge pinning ceremony today at the City of Placerville Town Hall. Joining the El Dorado County Fire Protection District ranks are  Firefighter/Paramedic Daniel Rimsans and Paramedic Ambulance Operators Rachel Ruzich, Gregory Cameron, Marc Avila, Jake Brandt and Chis Canalia. Welcome to the team!

Medic 28 in Shingle Springs will begin its transition to Paramedic Ambulance Operator staffing beginning this Saturday, May 20.
