It was a beautiful day, Sunday December 3, for a parade! We were thrilled to attend the Hangtown Christmas Parade with our Honor Guard, 1929 American La France and 1951 American La France fire engines, firefighters, family and special guests! Diamond Springs - El Dorado Fire Protection District also participated with their 1941 Ford fire engine. Fire Chiefs Tim Cordero and Matt Gallagher drove and rode along the route with special guests Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil and El Dorado County Supervisor George Turnboo. Accelerant Detection Canine Denali wagged her tail down the parade route and met many smiling children along the way. It was great to see everyone out to enjoy the holiday festivities!
