Firefighters Complete Joint Probationary Firefighter Evaluations

June 14, 2022 — Yesterday probationary firefighters from across the Fire District participated in combined manipulative skills examinations. Firefighters are evaluated every three months on various skills and have to complete other benchmark assignments. These firefighters practice daily with their own crews in your neighborhoods to prepare for evaluation and ultimately performance and competency during emergencies. It takes a lot of commitment, hundreds of hours of focused work, from the probie firefighters and their crews to mold the firefighters who serve our communities. 19 probationary firefighters participated in the evaluations. Several of these probie firefighters passed 12-month evaluation requirements and will be completing their one-year probation in the coming days.
