Shingle Springs, CA, July 13, 2022 — Firefighters extinguished a barn fire that started around 4pm in the French Creek Rd and Hidden Circle area of Shingle Springs. The fire was quickly brought under control by El Dorado County Fire Protection District personnel along with personnel from CAL FIRE Amador El Dorado Unit, CAL FIRE Cameron Park Fire Department, El Dorado Hills Fire Department, Diamond Springs - El Dorado Fire Protection District, Mosquito Fire Protection District and Rescue Fire Department. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
