Firefighters Raise $6888 for Firefighter's Burn Institute

Placerville, CA, October 8, 2022 - Firefighters were able to raise $6,888 for the Firefighters Burn Institute at Saturday's Fill the Boot for Burns event in Placerville. All proceeds go to the non-profit to provide regional burn services, and provide survivors with support, resources and recovery programs.

Firefighters hosted the "Fill the Boot for Burns" event at Ray Lawyer Dr and Placerville Dr in Placerville on Saturday October 8. The Firefighters Burn Institute's mission is to provide a local burn treatment facility while providing recovery programs for burn survivors; providing fire and burn prevention through public education; funding education for burn team professionals, firefighters, and burn survivors; and supporting burn treatment and rehabilitation research.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped the firefighters to support this cause!
