Our wildland urban-interface communities are no strangers to the difference that wildland firefighters make while working to save lives, property, infrastructure, and precious natural and cultural resources. The men and women that serve in the El Dorado County Fire Protection District are all-risk firefighters meaning that being a wildland firefighter is another one of the many hats they wear.
