Plan Review and Submittal Information
Engineering plan review services include the review and approval of:
- New construction buildings and tenant improvements
- Access and water supply systems for subdivisions and new developments
- Fire suppression and life safety system installations or modifications
- High-piled combustible rack storage systems
- Hazardous materials storage and process piping systems
All projects are reviewed for compliance with the applicable California Building and Fire Codes and NFPA Standards. Construction documents and supporting data shall be submitted for all land development or construction requiring a building permit. Documents must clearly show the scope of the work and demonstrate compliance with relevant codes and ordinances.
Electronic Plan Submittals
Plans must be in PDF format and submitted along with a Plan Submittal Application via email to Prevention@eldofire.com
Payment
Payment is due at the time of plan submittal. Payments must be received in order to process the application. This ensures timely processing and review of all project applications.
Payments can be made by check or cash, in person or by mail to the El Dorado County Fire Protection District at 501 Pleasant Valley Road, Diamond Springs, CA 95619.
